Afghan Cinema Society
The Afghan Cinema Society, a non-profit initiative, aims to introduce Afghan films to international film festivals and markets to help gain recognition for the country’s fledgling industry.
Leveraging from our connections both from within the Afghan film community and the international film industry, we present high-quality Afghan films to film festivals for showcase and film buyers for distribution.
The carefully selected films are chosen on the merit of their production-quality and content-relevancy for the international audiences. Only films that meet these criteria are selected, so programmers are assured of engaging films and quality world cinema pieces.
