If you’ve made a feature-length narrative or documentary, your aim is or should be selling (licensing) it to distributors around the globe. There are various routes of getting a distributor for an independent film, the most common being through a film festival or a sales agent.

But one avenue, perhaps the most important, that many filmmakers may not know about is a “Film Market.” A Film Market is exactly what it sounds like, a marketplace where film sellers and buyers come together to do – business.

There are just a handful of them around the world and one of the major ones is the American Film Market. Industry professionals from more than 70 countries come together to license and acquire content for their region or exhibition medium. Around $2 billion is exchanged in sales during this market.

That gets us to your film. 

We’ve devised a special program so filmmakers or their respective representatives could present (exhibit) their films at this market without giving away any rights or control over the licensing process. We simply find you the buyers, or the buyers will find us/your film, and we make the connection and help you seal the deal. You take it on from there.

To present your film at the market and meet with buyers, we have to go in as an ‘exhibitor/seller’ and as you’d expect there is a charge for that, like a rental fee. So all the films/filmmakers we represent, contribute towards that cost with a combination of a very minimal pre-payment and a very low or no commission. Both the pre-payment and the commission are very minimal and way, way below what a company doing the same thing would charge – our aim is to get your socially relevant film out to a global market and have it make a change in the world. More on that once we think your film has the quality and content that we are looking for:
